Corn chip is a kind of brittle food, with good rehydration, external flushing not rotten, smooth taste, grain flavor rich. Its main raw material is corn flour, and added sugar, a variety of vitamins, minerals mixed raw materials, adding a certain amount of water after being fully kneaded, curing, forming, pressing and baking seasoning to make a thin sheet.


Extruded corn chips processing equipment using twin screw extruder, its working principle is under high temperature and high pressure conditions, the water contained in corn kernels constantly absorb energy and vaporize, and forced to the inside of the corn molecules soaked and cut. Before reaching the homogenization stage, the cornmeal gradually changes from a solid state to a viscous state. The viscoelastic zein molecules continue their protein denaturation process in the homogenization section, and are continuously extrusioned. When the temperature drops suddenly, the water molecules squeezed into the protein molecules rapidly expand and vaporize, and expand the substances surrounding them, completing the final denaturation process. Together, the commodity forms a loose substance with many micropores: The extruded corn balls are then naturally cooled and rolled into corn flakes.


Corn chip production equipment is composed of powder mixing - screw conveying - twin screw extruder - vibration cooling machine - air feeding machine - tablet press - elevator - oven - sugar spraying - cooling - packaging and so on.

1. Powder mixer: Mix raw materials, auxiliary materials, water and other materials with moderate speed and even mixing.


2. Screw conveying: The screw mechanism is used to lift the raw materials to the feed machine of the twin screw main engine.


Twin screw extruder: This machine is composed of feeding system, extrusion system, rotary cutting system, heating system, transmission system and control system. Advanced screw extruding technology is adopted to mature and extrude the material by high temperature and high pressure in one time. The host adopts frequency control to ensure the stability of the production process.


3. Vibration cooling: used for the initial cooling of the product, the product out of the previous equipment is evenly distributed to the next equipment.


4. Air feeder: Used to transport puffed food to the next equipment.


5. Tablet press: used to press semi-finished products into sheet products.


6. Elevator: Used to lift the product to the oven


7. Oven: It is used to dry and dehydrate semi-finished products. Belt drying device is adopted, and a certain number of heating devices are installed in the oven for drying by electric heating. It is the most commonly used drying and dewatering device for extruded products.


8. Sugar spraying machine: used to adjust the product taste, the front roller for seasoning, after the roller for oil spraying, so seasoning and oil spraying separate operation, the product seasoning quality improved a lot.
