Classification of production line
product line refers to the route of the production process of a product, that is, the route formed by a series of production activities such as processing, transportation, assembly and inspection from the beginning of raw materials entering the production site. The basic principle is to decompose a production process into several sub-processes, the former sub-process creates execution conditions for the next sub-process, each of which can be carried out simultaneously with other sub-processes. In short, it is "functional decomposition, spatial sequence, time overlap parallel".
A complete production line may consist of one or more sections (also known as "modules" in the enterprise). A section consists of several stations, which are the minimum unit of work for a production operation.
Production lines can be divided into the following types according to the degree of automation, production scale and production attributes:
According to the degree of automation classification: can be divided into automatic production lines and semi-automatic production lines. Automatic production line refers to the whole production line equipment is automatic equipment, through automatic loading machine, buffer belt and automatic unloading machine will all production equipment into an automatic line. Semi-automatic production line refers to the production line where the main production equipment is not connected or not fully connected, and part of the operation is still manually operated.
According to the size of production lines: production lines can be divided into large, medium and small production lines. Large production lines have large production capacity. Take SMT production line as an example, the SMT machine on a large single-sided production line is composed of one universal machine and several high-speed units. Medium and small production lines are mainly suitable for research institutes and small and medium-sized enterprises, to meet the multi-variety, small batch or single variety production.
According to the different types of products: for example, the production line of printed circuit boards is divided into single production line and double production line. A single line of printed circuit boards consists of automatic surface assembly equipment such as printing press, SMT machine, reflux furnace, test equipment, etc., which is mainly used to assemble SMC/SMD products on only one side of the PCB. The PCB double production line consists of two PCB single production lines, which can exist independently or in series. It is mainly used to assemble SMC/SMD products on the PCB double side.
